Zlatan Ibrahimovic Eyes Return To Manchester United

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is considering a return to Manchester United after seventeen months stint at MLS side L.A Galaxy and believes he can still make a difference at the club despite his age.

United will be left with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial when Alexis Sanchez completes his loan move to Inter Milan where his former teammate Romelu Lukaku moved to in a £73m deal.

"The lion still roars yes. I could still play easily in the Premier League. If United need me, I'm here," said Zlatan. "But right now Galaxy has me and that's what I'm concentrating on."

The Swedish striker spell at United only lasted for 20 months where he contributed 29 goals in 53 appearances. Importantly, his effort by a header secured the Community Shield for the club against Leicester on his debut.

Zlatan's departure from the club was impromptu under Jose Mourinho, nevertheless, he made significant contributions in United winning the EFL Cup and Europa League title under Jose Mourinho.

"I saw the last game against Crystal Palace and if they had scored the penalty then it's a different game," he added describing the league as one where "it's not finished until it's finished."

The 37-year-old who has a record of 33 trophies won since his career started 20 years ago, is yet to win a trophy with LA Galaxy but has scored 49 goals in 44 appearances. He was voted MLS best player for ESPY award.
