Zinedine Zidane Restores Faith In Gareth Bale, Says "I Will Rely On Him"

Gareth Bale will have to breathe a shy of relief over Zinedine Zidane's restored faith in him after many efforts made by Real Madrid to get him out of the team in the transfer window.

The Welsh's future was hanging in the balance since the return of the Frenchman, who wanted him out and was almost sold to a Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning in an attempt to bring over to the club his fancied Manchester United player Paul Pogba.

Unfortunately for Real, a deal was not reached with the Chinese club and Gareth stayed on but was not featuring in any of the team's matches during their preseason tour. Neither was United ready to sell Pogba until their demand of £150 million deal offer is meant.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of the club's opening match against Celtic Vigo on Saturday, it is obvious that Zidane had no choice but to have the forward reinstated.

"It seemed that [Gareth Bale] was going to leave but today he is here with us," said the 47-year-old. "The dynamics are changing, things are changing. From now on, I will rely on him, as on others."

This is following the club's failure to secure a deal for Neymar for whom they have offered Paris Saint-Germain a deal of £149m plus two players which included Bale and James Rodriguez.

However, since Bale moved to Real Madrid from English side Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, he has enjoyed winning trophies - the such he ever dreamed off - and that includes one La Liga and Coppa del Rey title, four UEFA Champions League title, and three UEFA Super Cup.
