Premier League: Liverpool Maintain Winning Streak In 3-1 Win Over Arsenal

Liverpool maintained their perfect start to the season with the third match win, beating Arsenal 3-1 at Anfield with Mohamed Salah scoring a brace.

David Luiz's disastrous defensive error for pulling Salah to give a penalty away to Reds which the Egyptian converted, devastated Gunners who just conceded the opener from Joel Matip's header following a corner.

Arsenal made impressive effort early before the Matip notched in an opener. The £72 million man from Lille, Nicola Pepe, broke  away for a counter after the ball went loose from Henderson, and attempted a shot at Adrian but too weak to go past the Spaniard.

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang was another chance Gunners could not convert and struck a weak shot that Adrian saved. Unfortunately, that was followed by Salah brilliant finish for Reds' third goal.

What Gunners could get from the game was a consolation goal from L.T Di Pascua who rammed on the ball inside the area and slammed it in for Arsenal's only goal of the game.

"It was outstanding. It was a performance full of power, energy  greed and passion, which I think you need to have against team like Arsenal," Jurgen Klopp praised his team.
