Premier League: Arsenal Win First Two Matches In A Decade, Claim 2-1 Victory Over Burnley
Arsenal are enjoying a brilliant start to the season claiming their second straight match win with a 2-1 home victory over Burnley - They have not been that privilege with winning first two Premier League games since 2009.
Gunners picked their first victory at Newcastle by a lone goal victory courtesy of Pierre-Emery Aubameyang, who followed his stead in today's match and gave the side the winning goal after an hour of play.
Burnley did not have that much control of the game and conceded the first goal from Alexandre Lacazette who turned on two defenders and shot the ball past Nick Pope. The scoreline leveled just before half time with Ashley Barnes scoring from a close range from Dwight McNeil's cross.
The goal margin could have been wider for Arsenal but Clarets goalie made some brilliant saves of Aubameyang's shot and VAR ruled out Reiss Nelson's goal for an offside positioning of Danil Ceballos who joined the team on loan move from Real Madrid.
Arsenal's record-signing from Lille Nicolas Pepe made his first debut replacing Reiss Nelson in the second half of the game. Former Chelsea player David Luiz also made the starting line-up for the team
