Paris Saint-Germain Turn Down Barcelona's Offer For Neymar
Barcelona could not get a deal with Paris Saint-Germain to bring Neymar back to Nou Camp despite offering £93 million plus three players in the person of Philippe Coutinho, Ivan Rakitic and Nelson Semedo.
Real Madrid also suffered the same fate as the Ligue 1 side threw out their move for the Brazilian with an offer of cash reportedly to the tune of £149 million and two players - Bale Gareth and James Rodrigues. Meanwhile, the French demanded that Vinicius Junior be included in the swap deal
Representatives of Barca flew to Paris on Tuesday to discuss a deal for the 27-year-old with an initial offer £74 million and Phil but the was turned down on the spot by the PSG before the Catalan side included two more players in the deal.
It does not seem to be over with Barcelona as their president Josep Maria Bartomeu reportedly wants to meet with his PSG counterpart in Liverpool on Thursday. Yet, Real is also keen on winning a deal for the striker and as Zinedine Zidane said on Sunday, "Until September 2, anything can happen".
Neymar has enjoyed trophy-ladened seasons at Parc des Princes winning the Ligue 1 title back-to-back for the club during which he scored 51 goals in 56 appearances.
