Neymar: Talks Between Paris Saint-Germain And Barcelona Reach Advance Stage


A deal signing is in-view for Neymar Jr. whose return to Spanish La Liga edges closer to being actualized as talks Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain reach an advanced stage. 

It is understood according to a French media Le Parisien, that Barca have presented a deal of £153m for the Brazilian with a proposal to pay the fee in two instalments within a period of two years. 

To ensure to return to Spain secured ahead of transfer window deadline date, Neymar is understood to have personally met with the club's sporting director Leonardo Araujo on leaving the club. In retrospect, the Brazilian had discussed his desire to leave the club with Leonardo when he officially requested to leave.

Real Madrid are also in the race for the forward but it does not poise for a deal with the French side neither are they favourites of the player. Not only that, Real chances are slim since they are not ready to meet up with the demand of £90m plus Nelson Semedo. 

Neymar's agent Pini Zahavi also in the meetings being held by the executives of both clubs in the persons of Leonardo and Eric Abidal, Barcelona sporting director. With the deadline date set for September 2, a deal a lurking around for the Brazilian.
