Paris Saint-Germain: Neymar Moves Closer To Returning To Barcelona

Neymar's return to La Liga is becoming imminent as representatives of Barcelona are understood to be travelling to France for talks with Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday.

Despite all effort made to keep him at Parc des Princes, the Brazilian has been keen on returning to his former club that sold him to the Ligue 1 champions for £198 million in 2017.

Nonetheless, the club's director Leonardo Araujo had said in July, that the club would only let him go unless there is a deal that suits everyone. Now, it appears Barca would not let Real Madrid win the race for the striker as the Bernabue side has made their interest in him known reportedly offering £149m. In addition, on Sunday, Zinedine Zidane responded to question about saying, "Until September 2, anything can happen."

Neymar has not appearing in any of his team's matches since their preseason tour and was missed out during their 2-0 win over Rennes in the Ligue 1 opening match on Sunday.

However, the 27-year-old has had two title-ladden seasons at PSG winning the Ligue 1 back-to-back with the club. In this period, he has a record of 51 goals in 56 appearances.
