Miley Cyprus And Liam Hemsworth Break Up After Less Than A Year of Marriage

Miley Cyprus and her husband of less than one year and movie star Liam Hemsworth have decided to call quits their relationship.

Cyprus and Liam, who married last year in December, started their relationship a year after they met during the production of 'The Last Song' in 2009. Rumours about their split has been around for two weeks now but the pop singer attempted to dismissed with an Instagram update with a caption that reads, "Happy 10 year anniversary my love. Good to see everyone is as dumb as they were in 2009!"

Eventually, all efforts to save the relationship came down crashing when their split was confirmed by her rep who told E! "Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time."

The insider went on to say, "They have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart."

Cyprus relationship with Liam has not been smooth though as they have at some point called off their relationship after the 29-year-old had proposed to her in 2012. Before they finally tied the knot in 2018, the have been steady for three year after reconciling in 2015.
