Manchester United: Chris Smalling To Join AS Roma In Season-long Loan Move
The centre-back hasn't made an appearance with the team since the start of the season. He extended his contract with the United just nine-month ago before falling out of favour with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Since an exit is apparent, a fee of £2.7m has reportedly been agreed between Roma and the player.

Everton showed interest in the 29-year-old but being on deadline day, his move could not be secured. Whilst he continues to stay at United, Roma who were initially going after Liverpool's Deja Lovren, changed their priority from the Reds' player for him.
Smalling made his debut for the team in 2010 after a move from Fulham in their 3-1 victory over Chelsea to win the Community Shield. In that nine season spent with United, he won nine titles with the team including two Premier League titles.
