Manchester United Cede Interest In Juventus' Striker Mario Mandzukic
Manchester United reportedly has ceded interest in Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic blaming their decision on player's lack of interest to leave the Italian side.
The 33-year-old was deemed a replacement for Romelu Lukaku who joined Inter Milan in a club record-signing of £74 million ahead of the transfer deadline on Thursday.
With the exit of Lukaku and the club receding interest in the Croatia international, United are left with Mason Greenwood to fill in the gap left of in the team.
The England international, who is only 17-year-old will be in the forward alongside Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial.
Mandzukic has scored 30 goals in 117 appearances for the Italian giants and his four-year spell has been a trophy-laden with four consecutive Serie A titles, three-time Coppa Italia silverware and Italian Super Cup.
