Kanye West Surprised Former Manager John Monopoly With Birthday Gift Worth $300K
John Monopoly would not have thought of receiving an expensive gift to the tune of over a quarter of a million dollars from Kanye West on his birthday, and the G.O.O.D Music mogul lived up to the expectations of what it is to be a hip hop star that he is.
Ye is a protege of Monopoly and their relationship bated back to over three decades being the manager who discovered him. However, it was learned that the big dawg celebrated on Wednesday and Ye turned up at the event with a surprise gift of a brand new customized 2019 Lamborgini SUV.
Details about the vehicle which comes in metallic black paint, valued at $300,000 was initially kept secret according to TMZ until Monopoly described the giver as one who has a brother to him for over 30 years and a "very good guy". It became clear that it must have come from no other person than Kanye West.
However, Ye's first three albums were managed by Monopoly - 'The College Dropout' (2004), Late Registration (2005) and Graduation (2007).
