Jay-Z, Roc Nation Teams Up With NFL For Music And Campaign For Social justice In The Sport


Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter and his entertainment and sports company have secured a partnership deal with the NFL and will be consultants to the league in terms of music and social justice.

Until now, the hip hop mogul has maintained a strong stance on how athletes from ethnic minority backgrounds are being treated in the league especially the situation of Colin Kaepernick.

All that is about to be shoved behind and a new leave turned as the partnership which according to the New York Times will be announced on Wednesday, will make the rapper and Roc Nation "live music entertainment strategist" and both parties will be working on the league's objectives to fight social injustice in the sport.

In an update of a statement release by its owner Jay-Z  Roc Nation also confirmed the label and sports company's partnership with NFL mentioning that the deal is be all-inclusive.

"The N.F.L has a great big platform and it has to be all-inclusive," said Jay-Z "They were willing to do some things, to make some changes, that we can do some good."
