Everton Sign Juventus' Forward Moise Kean For £36M
Italian international Moise Kean has left Juventus and signed to a five-year deal with Everton as the team's five signings in this transfer window.
Kean stands to earn about £52,000-a-week from the deal which is believed to worth about £27 million with adds-on that could push it up to £36.6 million.
"I am very proud and honoured to wear that Everton shirt," the 19-year-old said upon signing the contract, "I am convinced to sign because Everton is a club looking to the future and so am I."
Besides bringing in the forward, Everton are working on their midfield and defence with the introduction of Manchester City left-back Fabian Delph, Mainz defensive midfielder Jean-Philippe Gbamin, former Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes who was retained after a season loan spell at the club.
Speaking on the Ivorian native, Everton manager Marco Silva said the teenager is top on the club "priority signings this summer" stating that he is a talented player with "many good qualities as a striker" who will help "improve" his squad.
