Cristiano Ronaldo Criticises Defenders, Goalkeepers Big-money Signings

Should Cristiano Ronaldo be 25-year-old, how much you think he will be worth?

Well, CR7 believes he will be worth four or three times what the most expensive goalkeeper is signed for in the transfer window. That is to say he will worth nothing less than £300m.

The former Fifa world best player also made his position known on what defenders and goalkeepers are signing for and he is not in support of what they are getting in today's transfer window.

"If a goalkeeper is worth €75m, a player who has done that I had must be worth three to four times more. Easy," he told a Portuguese TV channel.

He went on to explain his reasons, stating that for any players that is not a centre-back or goalkeeper that big-money deal can be justified, other than that, he does think it's right but you can't change the trends because it's the time we live in.

Joao Felix, his countryman joined Athletico Madrid for €100m from Benfica in this transfer window. That case to Ronaldo is special since he is an attacking midfielder.

Mind you, Harry Maguire was signed to Manchester United for £80m from Leicester City, that made him the most expensive defender toppling previous record set for the feat by Virgil van Dijk who joined Liverpool for £75 million.
