Wimbledon 2019: Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer Take Opening Round Wins

South African player Lloyd Harris gave Roger Federer an opening round match scare but the Swiss broke back and had him eliminated in four sets 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-2.

Federer felt a shock the 22-year-old in the first set as he broke his serve to take a 4-2 lead and claimed the opener in just 29 minutes. Afterwards, the world no. 3 took a breeze through the rest of the match, however, that was his first opening set lost since 2010.

In a later draw, Rafael Nadal wasted no time with Japanese Yuichi who he thrashed in three sets 6-3, 6-1, 6-3 to set up a second-round match with Australian veteran Nick Kyrgios.
