Romelu Lukaku: Inter Milan "Still Working" On Deal With Man United As Juventus Show Interest In Player

Romelu Lukaku hope of landing a deal with Inter Milan remains in the making as the Italians are still in the process of making a new deal with Manchester United for the striker.

United declined an offer of £54 million made for Belgian who they have a price tag of £72 million for before opening talks with the Italians. Since they forward poles in the club's interest, its director Beppe Moratta confirmed that the club has not given up on the player and are "still working" on a deal for him.

"We made an important bid to Man. United for Lukaku but Man. United ask so much for Romelu," Beppe said.

Lukaku was signed to the club from Everton in a £75 million with adds-on and it is beginning to seem like the demand from United is somewhat out of the reach of Inter.

Beppe added, "I don't know what will happen on next days, football is so strange. We have made a fair and important offer respecting the value of the player."

However, there seemed to be hope for the 26-year-old as Juventus are understood to have joined in the race for him and might be considering an offer that will include a swap with Paulo Dybala.
