Real Madrid's Dani Cabellos Completes One Season Loan Move To Arsenal
Dani Cabellos has completed his one season loan move from his Real Madrid to Premier League side Arsenal on Thursday.
Arsenal have had the need to fund a suitable central midfielder to replace Aaron Ramsey who left the club to join Italian giants Juventus in a four-year deal of £400,000-a-week in January.
The 22-year-old who has been tipped for a move in this window by Zinedine Zidane, reached an agreement with Arsenal on Monday for a loan move to Emirates Stadium.
Confirming the signing of the Spaniard, Arsenal's manager Unai Emery said, "We're excited to see Dani join us. He is a talented player with big technical ability, creativity and precision."
Emery missed out on his first title with Arsenal in a 4-1 loss to Chelsea in the 2018-19 UEFA Europa League and finsihed the season in fifth place forfeiting an appearance in the Champions League.
"I knew I had the confidence of the coach, which was very important for me from the start," he said on the club's website.
Speaking about what convince on leaving Real for the English side, he praised Emery coaching tactics as one of the reasons and believed that make him a "better player".
He went on to say, "As you know there are Spanish players [at Arsenal] Nacho Monreal and Text or Bellerin. I get on really well with Hector away from football, on personal level."
Ceballos joined Real in a six-year contract from Betis B and was with the team during their fourth Champions League victory in 2017-2018 under Zidane.
