Real Madrid To Sell James Rodriguez To Facilitate Bid For Paul Pogba

Real Madrid are making every effort necessary to make a bid for Manchester United star player Paul Pogba in this transfer window and are ready to leave go of James Rodriguez to secure that.

Pogba has been spotted to United in training session for pre-season fixtures but that did not suggest the France international is over with his interest to move to Santiago Bernabeu when an offer is officially presented to him.

Just as the club are putting up Gareth Bale for a potential move to any interested club and have once considered swapping him for the United player to enable their bid for him, they are also putting Rodriguez on the market for £40 million and might potentially join Carlos Ancelotti at Napoli.

Last week, the forward's agent Mino Raiola admitted that his client is keen on taking up a new challenge next season and they are in the process of ensuring that.

"Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul's wishes,Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on," Mino was quoted as saying.

However, for Real to trigger a bid for the Frenchman, United are demanding £150 million from the club to facilitate his release of the player they bought for 398 million from Juventus in 2016.
