Paris Saint-Germain Accept Neymar jr. Can Leave For "Offer That Suits Everyone"

Paris Saint-Germain have given in on letting go of Neymar who failed to turn up for the team's preseason training session on Monday.

It is no longer a speculation that the Brazilian wanted out of the club and has been linked with a move to his former club Barcelona. He is understood to have chosen to take a pay cut of £12 million which will mean will be receiving £24 million annually at Nou Camp to facilitate his return.

According to a statement from the French side's sporting director, Leonardo, it was revealed that the club has accepted to release the forward "if there is an offer that suits everyone."

He also pointed out that Neymar has not officially asked to leave the club but "It is clear to everyone. But in football, you say one thing today and tomorrow another. It's amazing but it's like that."

The 27-year-old who joined the club in a world record signing of £200 million from Barcelona in 2017 has three more years to run in his contract with the club.

He continued to say: "Neymar can leave PSG if there is an offer that suits everyone. But to date, we do not know if anyone wants to buy him, or at what price. All this is not done in a day, that's for sure."
