Newcastle United Get New Manager Steve Bruce
Ex-Sheffield manager Steve Bruce has been appointed by Newcastle United to replace Rafael Nadal as the club's new manager on a three-year deal.
Benitez left on the expiration of his contract with Magpies to join Chinese side DalianYifang, blaming his decision not to extend his contract with the English side on the club's "vision" which he does not agree to.
Bruce described his appointment as a "special moment" for him and his family and reunites him with the club of his "boyhood" being his dad favourite club.
The 58-year-old who led his former club to finish in 12th place in the EFL Championship reportedly will join his new team in China for their Premier League Asia Trophy matches.
