The former captain of the Dutch side led the team to win a domestic double - Eredivise and Dutch Cup - in the 2018-19 season and also to the semi-finals of the Champions League after staging a comeback to eliminate Juventus.
In the statement released on the club's official website, it confirms the acquisition of the 19-year-old will include an additional cost of £9 million.
