David de Gea In Talks With Manchester United For Six-Year Deal Worth £117 Million


Manchester United are about to make David de Gea the highest-paid goalkeeper in the world as talks are on-going for a new long-term contract worth £117 million. 

David whose current contract runs until the end of the season reportedly stands to get bumper wages of £375,000-a-week when an agreement is reached between him and the club. 

The Spaniard made the starting line-up for the club in their 1-0 victory over Inter Milan on Saturday in the International Champions Cup at Singapore National Stadium - teenage player Mason Greenwood scored the winning goal in 76th minutes. 

In eight seasons already spent at Old Trafford, the 28-year-old is understood to be in talks for a six-year deal with the club he joined from Atletico Madrid in 2011 under Sir Alex Ferguson.
