Chris Brown's Latest Album 'Indigo' Peak At No. 1 On Billboard Chart


From the start of the year, Chris Brown has been churning out songs, in fact, he has done six singles before he dropped his latest album Indigo on June 28. 

It finally paid off for him as the album peaked atop on the Billboard Album 200 chart to earn him his third album on the no. 1 spot on its first weekend. 

Indigo notched at the spot by upsetting Billie Eilish's 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?' which reign atop for three non-consecutive weeks. The album is the artist second longest album after 2017's Heartbreak On A Full Moon with 44 tracklists. 

According to Nielsen Music, Indigo recorded 108,000 equivalent album unit to take the spot, and on streaming platforms, it led the week with 76,000 SEA units which an equivalent of 97.95 million on-demand audio streams. 

Breezy earned the spot for the first time with his fourth album F.A.M.E in 2011, which sold 872,000 equivalent album unit and 2012's Fortune also peaked at the spot with the sale of 465,000 equivalent album unit.
