Speaking of the film, she voiced as Nala in the re-image of the 1994 film which she also did a soundtrack for. Cast in the film is Donald Glover who voiced as Simba, Seth Rogen voiced Pumbaa and Billy Eichner voiced Timon - both latter characters are Simba's companion.
The Gift is slated to arrive on Friday and it is coming as a 14-track long album featuring artists like her husband Jay-Z, Pharell Williams, Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino.
Explaining her motive behind the project, Beyonce said in an interview on ABC last week that the songs are such that "reflect the film" storylines in a manner that gives "a new contemporary interpretation" of the film to the listeners.

Amongst top African artists featured on the album include Nigeria pop singers in the person of Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Borna Boy, Tekno, Yemi Alade, Cameroonian artist Salatiel, South African artists Busiswa and Moonchild Sanelly.
