Barcelona Sign Teenage Player From West Brom On Three-Year Contract
16-year-old Barry has been under the radar of some clubs before Barca sealed a deal with West Brom which will receive £235,000 in compensation for the teenager's move to Nou Camp.
Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be keeping a close watch on the teenager who had turned down a professional contract offer from an EFL Championship club before Barcelona succeeded on getting him. He is expected to start playing next season but with the club's under 19 squad according to a tweeted message from the club.
Until the signing of the Birmingham-born player, public expectations were the development surrounding Neymar Jr's anticipated return to Nou Camp and Antoine Griezmann's move from Atletico Madrid but all that seemed not to pole in the club's list of interest at the moment.
However, Barry who is also a product of West Brom academy was part of England's under-15s squad at a tournament in Italy where he scored 10 goals in five matches.
