Arsenal Fans Cry Out To Owner Stan Kroenke To Make Drastic Changes In Club
Arsenal fans have come out to express their frustration with the club which they claimed have left them "marginalised" and have remained "passive" in the Premier League without the management and owner Stan Kroenke making effort to change the trend.
In a statement released from a group of supporters, the club's inability to make an appearance in the Champions League for three consecutive seasons is another factor they found unacceptable that needed to be addressed.
It has been 15 years since Arsenal last won the Premier League and after their appearance in the Champions League final in 2006 under former manager Arsene Wenger, they have not again made it to the feat.
"As Arsenal fans, we have watched with frustration as the team's football performance have declined over the decade," the group complained in the statement about the situation of the club since Stan took over ownership "Twelve years on, Arsenal are about to play in the Europa League for the third year running."
"Off the pitch, fans have never felt more marginalised, less listened to or valued...It feels as though Arsenal is at a crossroads. Things need to change."
In the latter part of the statement, the group implored the owner to make drastic changes in the management and that Stan can do that by making "new and dynamic appointments".
"There is a desperate need for some new and dynamic appointments. The addition of independently-mind directors can act as a genuine check and balance on the owner."
