Stuttgart Open: Felix Auger Alliassime Battles Through Tiebreaks To Beat Dustin Brown

Dustin Brown may be interesting by his style of play but that could not take him through the quarter-finals against Canadian player Felix Auger Alliassime.
Dustin who defeated Alexander Zverev To reach the last 8, was outlasted after playing through three tiebreaks with Felix who will be playing his career fourth semi-final with Milos Raonic.
The seventh seed past the world no. 170 in the deciding tiebreak saving five straight match points and hit backhand shot only for Felix net on return to win by 7-6(3), 6-7(2), 7-6(2).
"There were moments when it was frustrating but at the end my best chance to get the win was to stay composed," Felix said afterwards "I'm happy that I was able to stay calm and focussed."
Felix stepped up to Dustin's drop shots keeping the range of his forehand shot and struck 30 aces winning 81 per cent of his first-serve.
Dustin rose to fame when he defeated Rafael Nadal inn2014 Halle Open and was coasting to his semi-finals since 2016 Swiss Open but was snapped by the Canadian who on their first ATP Fedex tour level meeting.
