New Orleans Pelicans Agree With L.A Lakers To Trade Anthony Davis

Los Angeles Lakers have been in the chase for Anthony Davies for a while now and it now seemed to be gradually coming together as New Orleans Pelicans have reportedly agreed to a deal over the player.

An insider source claimed that both franchises have agreed to trade the star player for Lakers' Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram and three others. This is a trade Lakers fans and especially LeBron James has been keen the club secured to help boost the team on the offensive.

"The Pelicans have agreed to a deal to trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks including the No. 4 overall in 2019 Draft," ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski stated in a tweeted message on Sunday.

Under former Lakers President, Magic Johnson, the NBA All-Star player was set for a move to Staples Centre but a deal was not reached before the deadline passed.

Injury spell soon took its toll on Lakers after LeBron was ruled out for left groin injury in December and Kyle Kuzma soon joined him on the bench after picking up an injury.

Consequentially, Lakers which have been in good shape and poised to make the NBA playoffs began slid down the chart after an uncontrollable losing streak.
