Lionel Messi Tops World's List of Highest-Paid Athletes

Barcelona star player Lionel Messi and his Juventus counterpart Cristiano Ronaldo reign atop this year's list of Forbes' highest-paid sportsman.
Mess dethrone Floyd Mayweather who last year rocked the top spot with $285 million but now not in the list of top 10 neither 20. However, The Argentine's earnings only improved by $16 million compared to his total earnings last year which totalled at $111 million.
The American business magazine did the valuation of the elite sportsmen considering their income per annual and amount earn from endorsement.
Meanwhile, tennis player Roger Federer made the list in fifth place behind Mexican UFC fighter Canelo Alvarez and in the bottom of the list is Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant.
