Frank Lampard Poles To Becoming Chelsea Manager After Maurizio Sarri Leaves For Juventus
Chelsea have begun the search for Maurizio Sarri replacement after the exited manager completed his move to Juventus last night.
After an agreement was reached between Chelsea and Juventus, the Italian, 60, was paid £7 million on his move to the Italian Serie A champion.
Now that Sarri's departure has left a gap in the club's coaching crew, there is a need for a suitable replacement for the position. In that effect, the club's former midfielder Frank Lampard is reportedly being considered as its potential manager.
While the Derby County manager, Lampard, top in the club's priority list, former manager Jose Mourinho is understood to be interested in the job and RB Leipzig has also been lined up for consideration.
However, Sarri will be the replacement for Massimiliano Allegri who left Juve to have a break from the sport after leading the club to win five consecutive Serie A titles.
