FC Barcelona President Says Neymar Wants To Return From Paris Saint-Germain
It is not any longer speculations that Neymar Jr wanted out of Paris Saint-Germain for a return to Nou Camp where he left from two years ago.
Neymar was signed to the Ligue 1 side in a record-breaking deal of £198 million for five years but has been struggling with fitness at the club for a while, such that he missed most parts of the Champions League matches this season.
Barcelona president Jordi Cardoner confirmed the Brazilian is linked to his club and also clarified that the club is not considering a re-signing at the moment.
Jordi said in a statement that "Neymar wants to come back [to Barcelona]" but on the part of the club he cannot assure anyone if they are "working on recruiting" him.
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Neymar is ready to take a pay cut of 12 million euros (£10.7m) to facilitate his return to Barcelona. Should that be accepted by Spaniards, it will see the Brazilian's annual salary drop from £36.8 million to £24 million on his return.
However, PSG have been a successful spell for the 27-year-old who won Ligue 1 title and Coupe de France back-to-back with the club.
