DJ Khaled's Latest Album 'Father of Asahd' Earns Gold Certification
This is no doubt a cause to celebrate for DJ Khaled whose latest album 'Father of Asahd' has been certified gold by the RIAA.
Khaled's 11th studio album peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Album 200 chart behind with 136,000 equivalent album units sold according to Nielsen Music. However, in its second week, it soared to the top spot of Billboard's Top R&B/Hip Hop Album earning 58,000 equivalent album sale.
"Today is a great day! # fANLUV we did it. Father Of Asahd is officially certified GOLD!" Khaled announced the certification of the album in an Instagram update.
Unlike the album, its predecessors: Grateful (2017) and May Key (2016) bowed atop the Billboard Album 200 chart. Grateful reigned at the top spot for straight two weeks and the track 'I'm The One' featuring Justin Bieber, Chano, Lil Wayne and Quavo garnered the most streamed of the 15-track long album.
