Daniel James Completes Move To Manchester United From Swansea City
Swansea City player Daniel James has completed his move to Manchester United on a five-year contract with an initial transfer fee of £15 million and £3 million add-ons.
James will be Ole Solksjaer Gunnar's first player signed to United manager since his promotion from interim manager to permanent as a replacement for Jose Mourinho.
"This is an incredibly proud moment for me and my family," the Walsh international said on his move to Old Trafford "It is tinged with sadness that my father isn't able to share this experience with us."
The winger, 21, who is also a product of Swansea academy has scored four goals in 33 league match appearances for the club.
United fifth their first Premier League season under Solksjaer in sixth place and will be reappearing in the UEFA Europa League next season.
"Daniel is an exciting young winger with lots of skills vision, exceptional pace and good work ethic," Solksjaer said in a statement on the club's official website "We are delighted he has signed with our club and we are all looking forward to working with him."
