Dani Alves Leaves Paris Saint-Germain This Summer


Brazilian and Paris Saint-Germain right-back Dani Alves, has announced his departure from the club this summer.

Alves has exhausted the two-year contract he signed with the club from Juventus on a free transfer for £5.4 million in 2017. The former Barcelona player did not give any details on his future after leaving Parc des Princes in the statement released via Instagram.

"Today I close another cycle in my life, a cycle of victory, learning and experiences. It was two years of resilience and continuous reinventing to fulfil my mission, but in life, everything has a beginning, a middle and an end and now the time has come to put that final point here" Alves wrote in the lengthy message on Instagram accompanied by a picture update.

The 36-year-old has a record of eight goals in 73 appearances for the club and during his two years reign, he won with the Ligue 1 title back-to-back and Coupe de France (2017/18).

He ended the statement with a warmth farewell message to his former teammates, he wrote: "If you ever remember me, be like the good crazy of each day, with a beautiful smile on your face, with a pure energy of soul, as a professional worker and committed to gaols...A big hug to all and hope you do not miss my crazy things
