Tiwa Savage Signs To Universal Music Group
Universal Music Group in an effort to expand outreach to African artist has signed an exclusive agreement with Nigerian pop singer Tiwa Savage.
Savage, who was previously signed to Don Jazzy owned Marvin Records, hence will release her projects exclusive through UMG and will be working with exclusively Vannessa Amadi-Ogbonna and Efe Ogbeni of Regime Music Societe as producers.
Signing to the California-based record label which operates in over 60 countries, offered the "Lova Lova" songstress a bigger and global platform showcase her musical talent.
"My biggest goal is to make Africa proud," the 39-year-old said in a statement "I'm so excited and I'm thankful to Sir Lucian Grainge and my new UMG family for their belief in my dreams."
Last year, Savage featured in British Vogue December issue and that was after she was named in Top 100 Inspirational Women in Fashion by US Vogue.
