NBA Playoffs: Toronto Raptors Trim Down Milwaukee Bucks Lead To 2-1 With 118-112 Win In Game 3
Toronto Raptors battled through double overtime to secure a much-needed 118-112 victory against Milwaukee Bucks in Eastern Conference finals.
A victory would have given Bucks a break but Pascal Siakam and Kawhi Leonard kept Raptors alive in the series trimming Bucks' lead to 2-1 having on the board 61 points combined.
Leonard raked in a game-high scoring of 36 points, nine rebounds, and five assists whilst Siakam added up 25 points, eleven rebounds with an assist.
"Obviously, they changed their matchup," said Giannis Antetokounmpo who was well contained by Raptors "I tried not to think about it too much. Every time I tried to make a play, I saw that they were sending a second guy in here"
Antetokounmpo finished the game with a low scoring of 12 points with 23 rebounds and seven assists followed by Malcolm Brogdon with 20 points, five rebounds with an assist.
Raptors could have clinched the victory in the fourth quarter but two free throws missed by Siakam in last 7.4 seconds allowed the game to slid into overtime with Khris Middleton tipping a two-points in last 2.2 second to tie the scores.
In the first overtime, Leonard had kept Raptors save for victory after connecting a shot from the field to lead by four points but Bucks rallied and seized a chance from a turnover to tie the scores yet again after Leonard three-point attempt failed to dunk.
Bucks gave the game away committing two needless on fouls Siakam and later on Leonard late in second overtime and Raptors hit the free throws to clinch the victory.
