NBA Playoffs: Bucks Takes 2-0 Lead Over Toronto Raptors In Eastern Conference Final Series
It was yet another disappointing one for Kawhi Leonard-led Toronto Raptors which lost 125-103 on the road to Milwaukee Bucks in the Game 2 Eastern Conference Finals at Fiserv Forum.
Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped in a double-double of 30 points, 17 rebounds, and five assists to edge Bucks closer to the NBA finals with a 2-0 lead over Raptors.
Leonard put up a game-high scoring of 31 points, eight rebounds, and two assists whilst Kyle Lowry had a very quiet night unlike Game 1 and finished with 15 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
Raptors were significantly dominated through the game and outclassed by a 25-point margin in the first half (65-39). They managed to trim down the deficit down to 13 points late in the third quarter but Giannis would hold his team through scoring 11-of-30 points for Bucks in the fourth to clinch the victory.
Afterwards, Lowry lamented the loss and implored Raptors to find their rhythm when they will be hosting Bucks "and protect our home court like they (Milwaukee Bucks) did these two games".
Bucks had six of its players ending the game in double-figures with Ersan Ilyasova scoring career-high of 17 points, three rebounds, and two assists compared to Raptors which had only three players with double-figures.
"We didn't do much well tonight, obviously," Raptors coach Nick Nurse admitted to his team's poor performance on the road to Milwaukee Bucks.
