NBA Championship Final: Kevin Durant To Miss Game 1 On Road Trip To Toronto Raptors
Golden State Warriors might have to play the opening game of the NBA Finals against Toronto Raptors on Thursday without star forward Kevin Durant following a statement from head coach Steve Kerr.
Durant did not make an appearance in Golden State's sweeping 4-0 victory over Portland Trail Blazers in the Western Conference Final due to a calf injury sustained against Houston Rockets in Game 5 of Western Conference semi-final series.
According to ESPN, Kerr is uncertain if Durant and Cousins DeMarcus who is out for torn quad will be fit enough to join the team on a trip to Toronto on Thursday.
In April, Cousins picked up a torn quad injury in the first quarter of the team's 108 - 90 Game 2 win against L.A Lakers.
