Monaco GP Final Practice: Lewis Hamilton Pips Valterri Bottas To Take Pole Position

Lewis Hamilton clinched the pole position with the slimmest of all chances over Valtteri Bottas whose pace was derailed by hitting the barrier in the final lap. 
Valtteri Bottas was set to win the race until the unfortunate happened in final Q3 lap given Hamilton the chance to finish quickest and pipped him to the pole position in 1:10.166 seconds. 
The incident cost the Finn the race and finished 0.086 seconds behind Hamilton who won his 85th formula one pole position - the biggest ever recorded in the sport. 
Hamilton couldn't hold his emotion from expressing his joy when crossing the finish line the said aloud over the team radio "That's what I'm talking about!"
Max Verstappen took the third place and Sebastian Vettel finished fourth whilst teammate Charles Leclerc was eliminated in Q1. 
"I asked whether they were sure, they said 'we think we are,'" Charles said explaining why he was left in the pit in Q1 "I don't have any explanation yet in detail...very difficult to undertake."
It was such a disappointing race for the Monacan, who won Practice three but will have to start from 16th in the final on Sunday
