French Open: Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal Enter Fourth Round At Roland Garros

Roger Federer and his Spaniard counterpart Rafael Nadal have both progressed into the Roland Garros fourth round after eliminating their opponents David Goffin and Casper Ruud.
Neither Federer nor Nadal had an easy match with their opponents as the Norwegian, Ruud, nearly forced his round against Federer into the fourth set but the Swiss led with two set points to win the tiebreak for a three sets victory, 6-3, 6-1, 7-6(8).
Nadal likewise in the third set was faced with strong resilient from Goffin who raised his game at 4-4 and converted two break points on the Spaniard serve to win the set forcing the round into the fourth set.
In the fourth set, Goffin's resilience was met with more aggression and dominance from Nadal who eased through to break the set. The top seed outlasted the Belgian, 28, in four sets 6-1, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 for his 89th match win at Roland Garros.
"My mindset is just go on the court with a plan and with clear ideas," Nadal says afterwards "Of course, it's not the same when you are playing well. When you are playing so-so, when you are playing bad, it's always a different approach. That's part of the competition."
Federer will face in the next match Argentine player Leonardo Mayer whilst Nadal will take on another Argentine player Juan Ignacio Londero.
