French Open: Novak Djokovic Eases Through To Third Round
Novak Djokovic maintained clean run against Swiss player Henri Laaksonen whom he defeated in the second round to extend dominance to 10:0 in ATP FedEx series.
Laaksonen only lasted for an hour and a half and was outlasted by the one-time titlist who breezed through three sets 6-1, 6-4, 6-3 to reach his 14th Roland Garros third round.
"I think I served well. I used my forehand from different parts of the court really well," says Djokovic when asked on his view on his performance in the two matches played thus far.
"I didn't drop my level too much. I didn't spend too much time on the court. So, all is going in the right direction"
He will face in his next match Salvatore Caruso who reached the round after routing French player Gilles Simon in three sets 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.
