FA Cup Final: Manchester City Lift Trophy As Raheem Sterling Scores Hat-Trick In 6-0 Victory Over Watford

Manchester City closed the season campaign with a domestic treble in a thrilling 6-0 blowout against Watford at Wembley stadium.
Raheem Sterling printed his name in FA Cup history scoring its first final hat-trick as the team manager Pep Guardiola added to his profile another Premier League title, FA Cup and Carabao EFL Cup.
Last week, City secured the Premier title for the second time in a row by a point lead over Liverpool having defeated Brighton & Albion Hove at home by 4-1 in their last league match.
Today, David Silva launched the scoring in 24th minutes smashing in a headed pass from Sterling as City would progress to have the biggest victory ever recorded in FA Cup history since 1903 (Bury vs Derby 6-0).
Sterling added in the third goal with an easy finish of Gabriel Jesus goalbound shot. After the break, Kevin De Bruyne carefully rounded Hornet's goalkeeper, Heurelho Gomes and tapped in the third goal following a fast break inspired by Sterling.
Gabriel Jesus ran through with ball from the centre of the pitch and perfectly beat Gomes to the post for the fourth goal and Sterling smacked in from close range Bernardo Silva's cross before Sterling completed his hattrick doubling up on his shot after the first attempt bounced off the bar.
Guardiola finished the season with his first FA Cup trophy since taking the helm of the club in 2016 which today became the first team to win the English domestic treble in history.
