Barcelona Are Considering Selling Philippe Coutinho

Barcelona seemed to be done with its attacking midfielder Coutinho who has been rumored to have fallen out of favor with the club after their shock defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League semi-final.
For four seasons, Barca have not appeared the Champions League and the last time the won the title was in 2015 after winning 3-1 against Juventus. However, they lost a chance to end the drought to Liverpool in a 4-3 second leg comeback on Tuesday and Coutinho has come under criticism for not making any serious impact to impede their defeat.
According to ESPN, the 26-year-old has been described as one not fit to be in the team and for that reason, the club's board is reconsidering selling him to any interested club - they once put him on the market in March for anything in excess of 106 million.
"Coutinho is not a Barcelona player, that's been made clear," ESPN quoted an insider as saying after the club's defeat to Liverpool in the semi-final of the Champions League "he has added nothing. he will leave in the summer."
Bear in mind that, the same thing happened last year against AS Roma which staged a comeback to win 3-0 in the second leg and eliminated Barcelona in the quarter-finals having overturned their 4-1 advantage from the first leg.
"There will be time for a deep reflection and to give explanations," said the club president Josep Maria Bartomeu after Barca's defeat to Liverpool "Last year, in Rome, the same thing happened and it's not easy to explain. We will try to do so internally. We have to pick ourselves up and apologize to all Barcelona supporters."
The ex Liverpool player joined Barca in a club's record deal of 160 million in 2018 and 13 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions.
