Ajax Beat De Graatschap 4-1 To Win League Title
Ajax secured a much-needed victory against De Graatschap at home by 4-1 and ended their league title drought and are crowned champions for the first time since 2015.
All that they needed was just a point to clinch the title in their final league match but made away with the maximum points to finish the season with a double domestic title.
Ajax dropped out of the Champions League bid last week as Tottenham won 3-2 in second leg tie of the semi-finals and qualify for the final on 3-3 aggregate on away goal advantage.
However, Duscan Tadic sealed the scoring for Ajax with two goals after Nicola Tagliafico had put the side in the lead in 44th minutes.
Lasse Schone had scored the opening goal in late in the first half before the hosts' El Jebli equalised the lead three minutes later.
Ajax closed the season atop with 86 points from 34 games to clinch their 34th all-time biggest record league title wins.
