Wolverhampton Sign Raul Jimenez From Benfica For £30 Million

Wolverhampton have signed Raul Jimenez, who was loaned to the club from Benfica last season, to a club record deal of £30 million until 2023.
The Mexican, on his debut with Benfica, won two consecutive league titles with the club (2015/16 and 2016/17), and has been in top form at Wolves having scored 15 goals in 37 appearances since he joined the side on loan in June last year.
Speaking on his signing to ghe Premier League side, the new Wolves' forward described the deal as a "great honour" for him and believes he can help it regain its place at the top of the league.
"I want to make history here at the club," said the 27-year-old "I want to out the club back into thr top placrs in the Premier League. I think we all want that and have that ambition."
Jimenez transfer fee upset previous record set at club by Adam Traore's £18 million move from Middlesbrough in 2018.
