Russell Westbrook Notched Up Triple 20s In Thunder's 119-103 Win Over Lakers, Dedicates Triple-double To Late Rapper Nipsey Hussle

In the absence of LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma on the court, Los Angeles Lakers lost 103-119 on road trip to play against Oklahoma City Thunders with Russell Westbrook hitting a triple-double of 20 points, 20 rebounds, and 21 assists.
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope did his best to lead Lakers to stage a comeback late in second quarter and overtook Thunder's lead by 50-48, but Thunder would not let that last as they fire back to outscore Lakers in the first half.
Thunder would move on to win the game over Lakers after two losses in a row and improved to 45-33 to remain in eighth position in Western Conference - that guarantees an appearance in the playoff for Thunder.
Caldwell-Pope led the standouts with 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, trailed by Thunder's Jerami Grant who finished with 22 points, five rebounds, and an assist.
However, it will be the second time in NBA history for a player to put up 20-20-20 in a single game and Westbrook thought that best to be dedicated to late rapper Nipsey Hussle, who was gunned down on Sunday in front of his shop 'Marathon Store' in Los Angeles.
"That wasn't for me," Westbrook said of his standout after the games "That's for Nipsey...Somebody that paved the way for a guy like myself growing up in the inner city."
According to ESPN data, Westbrook leads in the NBA players triple-double stats having recorded 31 triple-double so far this season.
