Premier League: Liverpool Beat Southampton 3-1 To Regain Table Lead

Liverpool are back atop the Premier League table, but it took them a late effort from Mo Salah and Jordan Henderson to beat Southampton 3-1 at home.
Just as it took Saints less than 10 minutes to lead the game, so also was Reds which seized two crucial moments to win and past their arch rivals Manchester City having gained the maximum points.
Saints opened the scorebaord with Shane Long slamming in from close range a headed pass from Pierre-Emile HĂžjberg, and Reds later responded with an equaliser from Naby Keita's header to Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross in 39th minutes.
Late into the game, Salah made a fast-break from almost half way the pitch and delivered a sensational left footed finished to bottom left of the post.
Six minutes later, Henderson from close range, tapped in Roberto Firmino's cross to complete the scoring for Liverpool.
Now back in the Premier League table lead, Reds are two points clear Manchester City who trailed with 80 points and Saints are two places away from relegation zone.
