Manchester United: Paul Pogba Demands £500,000-a-week Wages To Stay
It is no more a thing to doubt that Paul Pogba is linked to Real Madrid for a move in summer, but Manchester United are bent on keeping him at Old Trafford and that is coming at a huge cost.
The Frenchman, 26, who helped his country to win their first Fifa World Cup trophy in two decades in Russia last year, thinks he deserves to be paid as much as his team mate Alexis Sanchez to stay at the club.
In spite of the huge demand coming from Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola, Solksjear is reportedly keen on keeping the midfielder long and his ready to slap on him three-year deal. Adding that year to his current contract which has yet two more years, that will mean he would stay until 2024 at Old Trafford.
Currently, Sanchez is the club's highest paid with £505,000-a-week wages whilst Pogba takes £300,000 home in wages weekly.
Pogba returned to United in 2016 on a club record signing of £98 million after four seasons spell at Juventus. He has since then scored 22 goals in 86 appearances in all competitions.
