Manchester City: Vincent Kompany Wants To Remain At The Club Says "I'll Be Playing Next Season"

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has expressed his intent to remain at the club after as his contract runs out at the end of the season.
The Belgian, 33, who moved to Etihad Stadium from Bundesliga side Hamburger SV in 2008, has confidence in the club on a new deal and even if both parties failed to reach an agreement on a deal, he would not change his relationship with the club.
"Oh yeah, I'll be playing next season," Vincent told talkSport and speaking on his prospective contract he said, "I'm part of the family now, so we'll deal with this situation as a family."
"We might agree or disagree but it won't change any of the relationships between me and the club...one guarantee is that I will be playing and trying to win more trophies."
Having spent a decade at the club, Vincent is currently the longest-serving player in the team and has scored 17 goals in 259 appearances in all competitions.
"When you get to the twilight of your career you enjoy it twice as much, and that's what I'm doing...Behind the scenes, I just keep grafting on and it allows me to be able to come into games and enjoy doing a job for the team."
