England Manager Gareth Southgate Honoured With OBE

England manager Gareth Southgate has been honoured with the OBE at Buckingham Palace, presented by Prince Charles on Thursday.
Gareth, who led the country's national team to their first Fifa World Cup semi-finals since 1990, dedicated the honour to his team which he said he didn't realise their worth until he presided led them to World Cup in Russia.
After receiving the honour, he expressed his gratitude to the players and the English fans because they have contributed to him being recognised for the honour.
"I'm very grateful to all of the players and all the support team that work with me, because I'm here representing them, really," Gareth said.
Last week, Harry Kane, the national team striker and Russia 2018 World Cup golden boot winner, recieved his honour at the Palace, presented to him by Duke of Cambridge Prince Williams.
The former Aston Villa midfielder explained what reaching the semi-finals for the first time in three decades meant to his team saying, "You don't realise how much it means to people in the country until you experience what we did and what we are experiencing now as the team continues to improve."
